For Attendees
Your Ticket Is In Your Inbox And Your Account
No sign-in and no app. Pick your tickets, pay the organizer, and show the QR code on your phone at the door.
How It Works
From Event Page To Front Door
Step 1
Choose Your Tickets
Pick how many tickets you want, and any extras. Selecting does not reserve them yet.
Step 2
Press Continue
Your tickets are held for 20 minutes while you fill in your details and pay.
Step 3
Pay The Organizer
Pay by card if the organizer offers it, or transfer to their PayNow or bank account and upload proof. They confirm once it arrives.
Step 4
Show Your QR Code
Each ticket has its own code, in your confirmation email and your account. Door staff scan it with their phone.
Your Ticket
Your Account Is Your Ticket Wallet
Every booking is saved to a free account under your email. Sign in on any phone or laptop to see your order status, and a QR code for every ticket once the organizer confirms your payment. The QR codes are in your confirmation email too.
Booked for friends? Each ticket has its own code, and you can add a name to each one.
At The Door
One Scan, One Entry
Door staff scan your code with their phone. Each code checks in once, so a screenshot shared around won't get two people in.
Your Privacy
What We Show And What We Don't
Private Orders
Your orders are only shown when you are signed in to your own account, and order pages are hidden from search engines.
No Tracking On Checkout
An organizer may add analytics to their event page, only with your consent. Checkout, payment and ticket pages never run analytics.
Refunds Go Through The Organizer
Your purchase is with the organizer. Ask them about refunds or changes, with your order number.
Questions People Ask
Where Is My Ticket?
In your confirmation email and in your BookASquare account. Once your order is confirmed, each ticket has its own QR code. Sign in at bookasquare.com/account on any device to see it again.
Do I Need To Print Anything?
No. Show the QR code on your phone at the door, from your confirmation email or your account.
I Bought Tickets For Friends. Do We Each Need Our Own Code?
Yes, and you have them: every ticket in your order has its own QR code. Add a name to each ticket in your account if the organizer asks for names.
Can A QR Code Be Used Twice?
No. Each code checks in once. If someone tries the same code again, the door staff see that it was already used and when.
Do I Need An Account?
Not to buy. You check out with your name and email, and we save the order to a free account under that email. We email you a link to set a password, so you can sign in later to see your tickets and invoices.
How Do I Get A Refund?
Refunds are up to the organizer under their own event terms, linked on the event page. Contact them first, with your order number.
Is My Order Private?
Yes. Your orders are only shown when you are signed in to your account. Treat the QR codes like tickets and don't post them publicly.
Does The Organizer Track Me On The Checkout?
No. An organizer may add analytics to their public event page, and only after you allow it. Analytics never run on checkout, payment, order or ticket pages.
I Think A Listing Is Fake. Who Do I Tell?
Email support@bookasquare.com with the event link. We look at every report.
