Questions About Listing
Is It Really Free To List?
Yes. Your event page and your place on Upcoming Events cost nothing. If you sell tickets or booths through BookASquare, a platform fee applies to paid sales only. Free events and events that book on your own site have no fee.
Can I Keep Selling On My Own Website?
Yes. Under Payment, choose Not Collecting Payment Via BookASquare and add your link: your event page shows a button that opens your own booking page in a new tab. Nothing is sold on BookASquare, and you can publish with just the event details, dates and the link.
Who Can See My Event?
Public events appear on Upcoming Events and in search engines until they end. Unlisted events are only reachable by their link, and events behind a page password never appear in the list.
When Does My Event Leave The Events Page?
Once it ends. Multi-day events stay listed until their last day is over.
Do My Buyers Need An Account?
No sign-in to book. Buyers check out with their name and email, and the booking is saved to a free account under that email. Vendors book a booth the same way.
Does My Event Have To Be In Singapore?
No. Singapore is where we are starting, and BookASquare works for events elsewhere in Southeast Asia too. Each event has its own currency and timezone.
