Typical ticketing platforms charge a percentage plus a per-ticket fee, often to your buyers. We keep it to one number.

How Billing Works
One Small Invoice, Every Sunday
Each time a payment is confirmed, 1% of it goes into your fee ledger. You can see every line on your Billing page, so there are no surprises.
Every Sunday we add up the past week (Sunday to Saturday, Singapore time) and send you one invoice by email, in Singapore dollars, with a link to pay it by card. It's due within 24 hours.
If it isn't paid by then, your account is paused from Monday: your event pages take no bookings and the dashboard is locked except for paying the bill. Everything comes back by itself as soon as you pay.
Every week any outstanding fee is billed, however small it may be. Card refunds and chargebacks credit the fee back. Refunds of Manual Transfers don't, because they happen outside BookASquare and we can't check them.
Your Money, Your Account
We Never Hold Your Money
Buyers pay you directly by PayNow, DuitNow, PromptPay or bank transfer, using your own details. The money goes straight to your account, with no payout schedule to wait for.
Our 1% is billed separately each week. Any fees your bank or payment app charges for receiving transfers are between you and them.
Card payments go through your own Stripe account, so card processing fees are charged by Stripe to your Stripe account, not by us.
Pricing Questions
What Exactly Does The 1% Apply To?
To what your buyers actually pay you for tickets, booths and add-ons, after any discount code and excluding separately stated tax. If a ticket is free, there is nothing to take 1% of.
When Is A Sale Counted?
When the payment is confirmed. For manual payments such as PayNow or bank transfer, that is when you verify the buyer's proof against your bank. For card payments, it is when Stripe confirms the payment. An unpaid reservation that expires is never charged.
Do My Buyers Pay A Booking Fee To BookASquare?
No. Buyers pay only the prices you set. The 1% is charged to you, the organizer, on a weekly invoice.
How Do I Pay The Fee?
Every Sunday we total the past week's fees and send you an invoice by email. It is due within 24 hours. Your Billing page shows every sale that made up the total.
What Happens If I Pay Late?
If the invoice is still unpaid after its due time, your account is paused from Monday. Your event pages show Sales Temporarily Paused and take no bookings, and the dashboard is locked except for paying the bill. As soon as you pay, everything is restored automatically.
What If The Fee For A Week Is Tiny?
It is still billed that Sunday. There is no minimum invoice.
If I Refund A Buyer, Do I Get The 1% Back?
For card payments, yes: refunds and lost chargebacks credit the fee back on a later invoice. For manual payments such as PayNow or bank transfer, no. Those refunds happen outside BookASquare and we can't verify them, so the fee on a verified manual payment stands.
Are There Any Other Fees?
Not from us. No setup fee, subscription, plan, credits or per-ticket fee. Your bank or payment app may charge its own fees for receiving transfers, and Stripe charges its own card processing fees to your Stripe account.
Can I Accept Card Payments?
Yes, through your own Stripe account. Buyers can also pay you by PayNow, DuitNow, PromptPay or bank transfer and upload their proof.
Is There A Contract Or A Minimum?
No. There is no minimum and no lock-in. You only pay 1% of what buyers pay you, for as long as you sell.
Which Currency Am I Billed In?
In Singapore dollars (SGD), for every organizer, so there is nothing to choose. If you sell in another currency, those fees are converted to SGD at the rate recorded on your weekly statement.
