Platform terms

These terms describe how BookASquare (the platform) works for organizers and buyers. They are provided as a draft for legal review before launch.

Organizers

Registration is free. BookASquare charges a commission of 1% of paid sales (after discounts, excluding separately identified tax), recognised when a payment is verified as received, and billed weekly: each Sunday 00:00 (Asia/Singapore) for the previous week, due the following Monday 00:00. Bills below the payment minimum are carried forward. If a collectible bill is unpaid at the deadline, new sales for the workspace are suspended until it is settled; existing orders, tickets, check-in and refunds continue to work. There are no subscriptions, credits or minimum fees.

Organizers are the sellers of their tickets and booths and are responsible for their event terms, refund policies, tax obligations and fulfilment. Card payments are processed by the organizer's own Stripe account; manual payments are collected directly by the organizer.

Buyers

Bookings are made with the organizer under the organizer's event terms. A selection is reserved only when you continue to checkout, for a limited time. Manual-payment bookings are confirmed only after the organizer verifies the payment; booth bookings may also require organizer acceptance. Refunds follow the organizer's policy and are confirmed by email only once completed.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate organizations, submit falsified payment proofs, or attempt to bypass booking limits. Reserved and impersonating names are not available as organizer pages.
